The Orchid House in the Longwood Conservatory
Let’s sketch together at one of the country’s top botanical gardens, Longwood Gardens! We’ll meander through the gardens with sketchbooks in hand, pausing as we go to explore the lovely details that the ever-rotating displays have to offer. You can draw, write, compose … all Creatives welcome! Once the guided art walk has concluded, you will be able to stay in the gardens as long as you like.
Bring your preferred sketching media and a sketchbook of any size you feel comfortable walking with, OR add a mini 4” square sketchbook to your reservation. This event has limited spots available, which are issued on a first-come first-serve basis. Registration is required.
If the botanical stars align, we will be able to view and study the rare Blue Poppies in this Art Walk. They are only in bloom for 10-14 days each year.
In the event of rain, we will be walking and sketching inside Longwood’s extensive Conservatory.
