NEW DATE: OCTOBER 20th at 11AM
Workshop with Carly Maiorano of The Glad Suite and Molly Leitner of Third Eye Owl Tarot
In this workshop, we will be working on creating still-life paintings from a tableau featuring objects representing fortune and divination. You may bring an object, talisman, or tarot card that holds meaning for you, which we will add to our still life display for inclusion in your painting.
We will discuss what makes a still-life come to life, and explore how to interpret what we see in a way that suits your own style. This workshop is for ALL skill levels, and those who would like additional instruction will receive tips on color mixing, composition, and color theory. All participants will receive one-on-one discourse about your pieces as they come together. You will not be copying a piece of art or a specific design - no two paintings will be the same in the end, and you can let your personality show through in your piece!
All materials are included, and each participant will paint on their choice of an 10”x 10” or 9”x12” stretched canvas during this event.
During this workshop, each participant will also receive a one-on-one tarot reading with Molly to clarify their inspiration and mantra to keep in mind as we close out the calendar year. A question to ponder for this reading: What wisdom can I embrace as I navigate the final months of the year, and how can I align with the energies present to close this chapter of the year with intention?
