The Glad Suite Collaborative at Brew HaHa Workshop Series
Learn the art of repair in this visible mending workshop that celebrates clothing repair! Mending invisibly can be difficult and intimidating. By injecting your style and personality into your repairs, you can make the most of your favorite clothing and inject new life into worn items! This workshop will feature techniques like darning, embroidery, needle felting, and more to show you how to make your clothing repairs sing!
Have a favorite item with an unfortunate stain? Visible mending is great for hiding those spots that just won’t budge!
Bring your own items to repair, or practice on provided scraps made from varying materials!
The price of this workshop includes all materials and methods for repair, as well as the participation in a textile swap! Have any textile waste or textile scraps? Bring ‘em, swap ‘em, and The Glad Suite will repurpose what’s left responsibly, keeping textiles out of landfills.
Additional clothing patches will be available for purchase to continue the mending fun at home!
Coffee will be provided, and the full menu of the Brew HaHa Trolley Square Cafe will be available for purchase during this workshop!
